Best Practices
The Rules we Operate By
This set of Best Practices is a Living Document and may change in the future to address any issue we may come accross.

Best Practices
By agreeing to attend an event hosted by The Muses of Texas Book Events, you agree to the following requirements.
-
To follow all code of conduct rules at an event or while participating in any of our social media communities.
-
Each event’s Head Host will issue invoices via e-mail or other means communicated to the attendees by that Head Host. Payment options will be provided on the invoices, and if other options are needed, the individual attendee can discuss them with each Head Host. All deposits are Non-Refundable.
-
The remainder of the table fee will be invoiced in the same manner as the invoice for the deposit, unless otherwise specified by the Head Host. The remaining Table fee is Non-Refundable.
-
If you have to drop from the event for whatever reason, The Muses of Texas Book Events will replace you with an author from the waitlist.
-
Any Complaints or Issues may be submitted in writing to The Three Muse Book Signing Events via e-mail. The Three Muses will review the email and will return an answer in a timely manner.
You can expect The Muses of Texas Book Events too.
-
Provide a venue with tables and chairs.
-
Provide a venue that is accessible to all.
-
Provide a safe venue and as free of issues as possible.
-
To handle all situations as professionally as possible.
-
To provide other small necessities as needed. Example: access to water and private amenities.
-
To promote the event to the best of our abilities. All attendees are also to promote on at least one social media outlet, a minimum of thirty days prior to the event.
-
If The Muses of Texas Book Events has to terminate doing business with an attendee for any reason, they must still adhere to the no slander section of the code of conduct. If not, a cease-and-desist notice will be issued via e-mail or other communication methods, e.g., a Direct Message on a social media platform. If slander does not cease after the notice is issued, other legal action may take place.
