
Code of Conduct
How we expect all, The Muses of Texas Book Event, attendee to conduct themselves while participating in an event or one of our social media comunities.

*There will be zero tolerance for slandering other attending authors/narrators/vendors/sponsors, or attendees, whether in person or on social media.
​
*Physical interaction: Any physical contact with authors, narrators, vendors, or readers is strictly prohibited without their explicit consent. Anyone violating these terms will be escorted off the premises and is subject to legal action.

*Punctuality: Arrive on time and be prepared to start signing at the scheduled time.
​
*Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor throughout the event. Dress appropriately and be courteous to all attendees.
​
*Engagement: Interact positively with attendees. Make eye contact, smile, and show genuine interest in their comments and questions.
​
*Respect: Respect the time of each attendee. Keep conversations brief to ensure everyone gets a chance to meet you. Do not stand in front of your table or walk to other tables to "poach" readers.
​
*Personalization: Personalize each autograph if requested, but be mindful of the time constraints.
​
*Promotion: Promote the event and your work on social media before and after the event. Encourage attendees to share their experiences.
​
*Compliance: Follow all event guidelines, including those related to the number of books signed and any specific instructions from the event organizers.
​
*Gratitude: Thank attendees for their support and participation. Acknowledge the efforts of the event organizers and staff.

The Muses of Texas Book Events or its affiliates are not responsible for lost or stolen items, dissatisfied readers, or any damages that may occur during the author’s time at the event. The author agrees to any logistics for readers to pick up products.
The Muses of Texas Book Events Hosts and Event Center owner has the right to eject anyone not abiding by the code of conduct.
